Our Digital Hub
Our platform is the hub for every interaction: video calling your partner, completing weekly workshops, and submitting them for official review. Interactions are private and moderated by our team.
Graduation & Certificate
Turn your experience into an asset. Upon completing the program requirements, you will receive Project Shock Global's Certificate of Intercultural Competency—a unique distinction to showcase on your future university applications.
What our students say
Alumni Placements
Contribute to bridging the gap between North America and Europe!
Some experiences aren’t gained from textbooks.
As a lifelong traveler across several countries, I have learned that cultural adaptability is the essential skill of the future.
Project Shock Global was created as a unique roadmap: a guide to turning new experiences into confidence.
Your journey starts here.
Application
Fill out the form. We review your academic background, motivation, and ideal partner preferences to ensure a perfect match.
Two Admission Rounds
Admissions run from January 15 to February 5 and from February 10 to March 1. We evaluate applications on a rolling basis, which means that applicants who apply earlier have a better chance of securing a partner.
Official Acceptance
If you're selected, we send you an official invitation. You start the program on March 23.
Everything you need to know.
We do not use automated algorithms. Our team personally reviews every profile to pair students based on shared interests, age, academic goals, and schedule. The goal is a "Twin" dynamic where conversation flows naturally.
The program is bilingual between French and English. When applying, students indicate which language(s) they are proficient in or want to practice, and we do our best to match her/him with the right partner.
We prioritize quality of connection. If our team is unable to find a suitable match for you within our network during the registration period, you will be invited to join the waiting list for our next editions. You will also have access to other events organized by Project Shock.
The program is designed to fit alongside a busy high school schedule. Expect about 5 to 10 hours per week, depending on how many workshops you choose to complete. Your time is divided between personal prep, video calls with your partner, and workshops.
We combine strict entry screening (enrollment at partner institutions, personal statement) with rigorous community guidelines. Students have direct contact with organisers and report on their experience throughout the program.
